In the heart of downtown Milwaukee, the Hyatt Regency hotel is connected to the Midwest Airlines Center convention facility, Federal Plaza and Grand Avenue Mall. It's conveniently located two blocks from the Bradley Center, Performing Arts Center and Entertainment District and one block from the scenic Riverwalk.
Conference attendees are encouraged to make room reservations as soon as possible. Our room block expires on April 4, 2009 and we will no longer have the group rate after that day. Call the hotel reservation number and ask for a room in the UW Extension North Central Urban Conference room block.

This website allows attendees to reserve a room from May 1 - 9, 2009. If you want to arrive earlier or stay later than the room block dates, you should initially select within the May 1 - 9 dates. The option to expand room block dates is two steps in, after selection of room type.
It is important that you use the above link or the reservations phone number. The Hyatt front desk phone number and main website will not have access to the Urban Extension room blocks and room rates.
Conference Room Rates: $139.00 per night for a single or double room.
Valet parking at the Hyatt is available at a special rate of $14/day for conference attendees. Please pull your car up to the main hotel entrance and let the valet attendant know that you are with the Urban Extension conference. The valet bill will appear on your hotel bill when you check out.
Transportation to/from the Airport:
SHUTTLE: Airport Connection COST: $12
per person each way or $22 roundtrip. Reservations only! You must book your reservations at least 48 hours in advance to receive the $22 rate. Otherwise the cost will be $24 roundtrip.
