 Mark O'Connell, Executive Director Wisconsin Counties Association
Mark O'Connell is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Counties Association, an organization which represents counties at the state and federal level with respect to all issues affecting county government.
Mr. O'Connell has served county government for the past nineteen years. Previously, he worked for the State of Wisconsin in the Department of Administration, Department of Natural Resources, and Legislative Audit Bureau. Mr. O'Connell has a Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and a Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. O'Connell is President of WCA Services, Inc., an executive officer of the Wisconsin Higher Education Business Roundtable, and a principal in the Wisconsin Way effort. Mr. O'Connell serves on several state boards and commissions including the University Of Wisconsin Extension Board Of Visitors.
Mr. O'Connell is Vice President of the National Council of County Association Executives and will serve as President in 2009. |
